Hybrid between a standard ML-injector and a Cyclotron.

[[File:Injectror_with_NPL.png|400px]]

Idea: The injected train can chose up to 4 different ML to continue its journey (1->4+NPL). If all ML's are full or temporarily occupied then the train will take the No-Pickup-Line (NPL) and will try it another time. Its different than a Cyclotron - because it easily holds multiple trains.

Future prospects: Expanding the system to 2->4+NPL or even 4->4->, for higher capacity :)
This idea behind this layout was to balance the ML between the north and the south. To do this trains from Primary Industries in the North headed to the South, or from the South to the North. No Iron Ore was transported on the Main Lines, this was made locally at steel mills on the Sidelines. As with any Temperate game that has Oil Rigs, this game became rather Oil heavy, and by the end of the game 1/5th of the 1000 trains in total, were dedicated to Oil duties. |236|File:psg236.png|This is the busy Norther Drop station, tunnels for the entrance to the pick up pass under this}}
It has been quite a while since we played toyland climate. Unlike before, now we played it with NUTS so we could use some nice trains and in this case also refittable wagons. Toyland industry chains are particularly special as all of the cargoes do produce a secondary cargo, therefore being ideal for a refit game. And a refit game we did. There were many town drops used on each sideline, some sidelines even had primary stations joined with a town drop in one station. This meant that trains always picked up the secondary cargo after refit, and just returned to the sideline no matter what. Therefore we could have omitted the conditional orders. This meant our network was very stable without wave traffic so we did not need any kind of overflows. As every train had a high chance of making a profit, we checked our network fluency by looking at the profitability of our trains - we ended the game having 1000 performance rating which means that every single of our 1729 trains managed to turn profit in the last year. |234|File:psg234.png|SLH04 services about 11,000 units of production spread over 6 drop-refit-load stations.}}
It has been quite a while since we played toyland climate. Unlike before, now we played it with NUTS so we could use some nice trains and in this case also refittable wagons. Toyland industry chains are particularly special as all of the cargoes do produce a secondary cargo, therefore being ideal for a refit game. And a refit game we did. There were many town drops used on each sideline, some sidelines even had primary stations joined with a town drop in one station. This meant that trains always picked up the secondary cargo after refit, and just returned to the sideline no matter what. Therefore we could have omitted the conditional orders. This meant our network was very stable without wave traffic so we did not need any kind of overflows. As every train had a high chance of making a profit, we checked our network fluency by looking at the profitability of our trains - we ended the game having 1000 performance rating which means that every single of our 1729 trains managed to turn profit in the last year. |234|File:psg234.png|SLH04 services about 11,000 units of production spread over 6 drop-refit-load stations.}}
It has been quite a while since we played toyland climate. Unlike before, now we played it with NUTS so we could use some nice trains and in this case also refittable wagons. Toyland industry chains are particularly special as all of the cargoes do produce a secondary cargo, therefore being ideal for a refit game. And a refit game we did. There were many town drops used on each sideline, some sidelines even had primary stations joined with a town drop in one station. This meant that trains always picked up the secondary cargo after refit, and just returned to the sideline no matter what. Therefore we could have omitted the conditional orders. This meant our network was very stable without wave traffic so we did not need any kind of overflows. As every train had a high chance of making a profit, we checked our network fluency by looking at the profitability of our trains - we ended the game having 1000 performance rating which means that every single of our 1729 trains managed to turn profit in the last year. |234|File:psg234.png|SLH04 services about 11,000 units of production spread over 6 drop-refit-load stations.}}
We made 1,085 trains where 2/3rd is being used on S-Bahns. With the 2cc train set we could make some really nice S-Bahns with tight curves, or we could make short metro trains with a huge loading capacity.
== Stay in your line ==
The idea behind this concept is inspired on the US high-way's; which had this "rule" for the drivers to stay in your line, even when other lines go faster or not. I think this concept was based on the idea that switching lanes would slow down the traffic, and this is bad when the roads are heavily loaded.

In OTTD this translates to the following concept; The longer the distance the train has to travel the less "splits/merges" he will cross to continue his journey undisturbed. This could give some interesting ML construction, because trains have to chose the "right" ML in order to achieve this goal.

I added a picture to elaborate it a bit better :) (Concept design with 3 Levels)

[[Media:STAYINYOURLINE.png]]

Now we have 3 trains coming from the south Lv3 SLH

A) The first one have to go to A and should take the most inner lane, this will give him the fastest possibility to get there, without crossing splits and merges
B) The second train takes the most outer lane because he has to go through the Lv1 SLH to get to B
C) The last one is more interesting, because he has a choice; either taking the outer lane or the center lane. The train should take the center lane first and then switch to the outer lane at the Lv2 SLH to get to the Lv1 SLH and C
== Coop World Cup ==

I am going to get the ball rolling here. I think we should have a coop world cup.
This will work by setting up league tables, with 4 – 5 players in each table. Each person will play everyone in their table once. Each game will be 2 hours long exactly, and each game will have on referee.
To win a game you get 3 points
A draw (very rare only when it is too close to call) will give you one point
A loss will give you no point.
The top 2 from each table will continue to the knock out stages.
Once again game will be 2 hours long.
The winner will gain the title of coop world champion. And the contest will take place once every year.
The ranking will be as follows.
Winner Place (wins the final)
Second Place (looses the Final)
Third Place (wins the losers final)
We could also have qualifying stage for these contests so that only the best player will participate.
The top 3 of the last contest automatically qualify for the next tournament.
You will need 8 groups of 4 – 5 players so we can have a fair sized tournament.
Also all game will need to have an agreed time between all players
Each game will have 1 ref and only 1 ref.
No industry or cargo steeling.
Idea: The injected train can chose up to 4 different ML to continue its journey (1->4+NPL).
To main idea behind this concept is two things; the first thing was that with more conventional ML injections, train(s) are waiting right next to the ML and the required prio must be long enough not to slow down the ML when a new train is entering the ML. A solution to this was off course the so-called Cyclotron; which in his case the train is always at full speed and the prio can be made shorter. However, cyclotrons have also some drawbacks; (1) its difficult to build a cyclotron who can hold more than 1 train, (2) cyclotrons usually only inject into one ML-line (off course its possible to build one which injects to more than one ML-line, but is also rater difficult).

So that is when i came up with this new idea (which I also haven't seen before in any PSG), a Main Line Injector with a No Pickup Line, a combination of both worlds :)
