Sidelines, as the name suggests, are lines to the side of something else. In this case, they are the rail link between industries and the [[Guides:Glossary:Mainline|mainline]] via special [[Guides:Glossary:Sideline Hub|Sideline Hubs]]. They are in the form of LR and usually service 1-5 industries before another sideline further down the [[Guides:Glossary:Mainline|mainline]] takes over.
