To main idea behind this concept is two things; the first thing was that with more conventional ML injections, train(s) are waiting right next to the ML and the required prio must be long enough not to slow down the ML when a new train is entering the ML. A solution to this was off course the so-called Cyclotron; which in his case the train is always at full speed and the prio can be made shorter. However, cyclotrons have also some drawbacks; (1) its difficult to build a cyclotron who can hold more than 1 train, (2) cyclotrons usually only inject into one ML-line (off course its possible to build one which injects to more than one ML-line, but is also rater difficult).
