Four-way BackBone Hubs are in general extremely massive constructions. Their footprint is usually so large that two 3-way hubs could do the same job on much smaller area, which resulted in their reduced usage to a minimum in the latest games. They still are fun to build because there is quite a lot of different possibilities how to build them.
