I agree on both complex Terminus Stations. Maybe the easy stations is just a little bit too easy?! --Osai 16:51, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- Easy, yes. But they are submitted for completeness. Additionally, players new to OpenTTD and presignalling may not have seen it or understood this type of station before. Many public servers have terminus stations that are very different from this one, and don't work as cleanly as they could. Thraxian 01:35, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
- Okay. Sounds like we are going to create a complete compendium. I like it. --Osai 16:40, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
I see a little problem on Osais Terminus Stations, there is a bridge before split, I guess, we did other way on working games... --Ammler 22:31, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
- I agree that the bridge on the entrance is a problem. The extended terminus design takes care of that problem when there is a queue of trains coming in. For a less-used station, the added spacing between the trains as they enter due to the bridge could be problematic. It may also be possible to double the bridge entrance, but that will lead to a lot of stop-and-go also once the platforms are filled. --Thraxian 19:53, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
To pick another nit: The Standard Terminus and Extended Terminus can be made a bit more efficient by moving the center two platforms to the west by 3 tiles. This will stagger the station, like this:
----------XXXX -------XXXX -------XXXX ----------XXXX
It's a minor improvement, but does raise the throughput a little, and every bit helps in a terminus station layout.--Rob 16:36, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
