A sideline hub (SLH) is a hub that connects a sideline to a mainline. Although usually load balanced they are not always. They are however, designed not to interrupt the flow of mainline traffic as much as possible, so that trains already at full speed do not have to slow down. More information on building a sideline hub is availbe on the Basic Juntions guide.

A sideline hub (SLH) is the most common type of hub used in #openttdcoop games. It's purpose is to connect a sideline to a mainline. We usually build sideline hubs using prioritized mergers to avoid slowing down mainline traffic.

Examples of sideline hubs can be found in the Junctionary.
