Since we often use abbreviations in comments and communication, here is a list of them:

| E-Rail / Erail | Electrified railroad | ||
| Hub | A railway junction, see Basic Junctions | ||

| LL / RR or variations | Indicating directions of the lanes of main- and sidelines | ||
| ML | Mainline, also called "Axis" | MM | Moneymaker |
| PAX | Pessengers / Pessenger transportation, see Pax | ||
| Pickup | A station where cargo is picked up | ||
| Prio | Priorities | ||
| SL | Sideline | ||
| SLH | Sideline Hub | ||
| Tile | A square on the map | ||
| TL | Train length in tiles (!) |
