A very easy, but unpractical SLH, can be used for quick reference
An example Sideline Hub without Loadbalancing

A sideline hub (SLH) is a hub that connects a sideline to a mainline. Although usually load balanced they are not always. They are however, designed not to interrupt the flow of mainline traffic as much as possible, so that trains already at full speed do not have to slow down. More information on building a sideline hub is available on the Basic Junctions guide. Examples of sideline hubs can be found in the Junctionary.
